What in the world do you do when you have become part of a company that hasn’t even launched yet, and people are already earning thousands of dollars, and you know it’s the top of a wave?
What a predicament!
I joined a week ago. It’s set to launch June 1st. People are already joining by the hundreds. So what is my part? That’s what I have been pondering for a week. Yeah, I do tend to “overthink” things, but I need to know why and how I’m doing what I’m doing.
There’s a lot going through my head right now, so I’ll just try to briefly explain.
What makes this a wave?
- It is an opportunity to save. People do not have to buy anything. Rather, they subscribe as members, and their membership (only $19.97/month) allows them to save on all kinds of things that they would be buying anyway — food, flowers, clothes, automotive, travel, hotels, entertainment, etc. You could compare it to a CostCo membership, but way bigger than that.
- It is an opportunity to earn. They can also join as affiliates ($60/year), which allows them to earn weekly and monthly residual income.
- It is patterned after a company which has already had proven success (LiveGood), with even further improvements and advancements made.
- It is available to people in many countries around the world.
- It is currently in pre-launch (set to launch June 1st), which means that anyone who joins in May will be at the top of the wave when the company becomes more well-known.
What makes this a predicament for me?
With hundreds of people joining in the pre-launch, it’s moving fast! I know it won’t be hard to get people to join me.
But… I want to do it in the way that I am supposed to do it.
Everyone is different. And that’s a very good thing.
Some people are getting so excited that you wonder if they’re going to bump their heads on the ceiling! And I can certainly understand why! This company is way better than anything I’ve ever seen before, and I go way back to about 47 years ago with Avon–ringing doorbells in the neighborhood to deliver the monthly catalogs (“Ding dong, Avon calling”).
Thankfully, the people who are so excited are also more than happy to help those who are joining under them—providing training, answering questions, leading by example, etc. We very much need them. In fact, I wouldn’t have this problem if it weren’t for the incredible blessing they all are.
But for me, I am:
- more low-key; not real hypey
- very aware of the needs of my family and not wanting them to lack anything in terms of my service to them or attention to them
- wanting to keep a perspective that is not just about today, not just about me and my lifetime, but about eternity
In other words, I don’t want this opportunity to take over my life. But I do want to be a blessing to others. It would certainly not be right to sit on this and not do anything with it. That would be very irresponsible and selfish!

So here’s what I have come to…
Thousands of people are going to be joining this company. It is already like a big family and will become that even more so. But, as in a family, you have the whole bunch of relatives and you also have the nuclear families and the sizes of groups in between (like your aunts, uncles, and cousins). In a nuclear family, when the kids are little, everyone sort of has the same characteristics in certain respects. The kids follow their parents and have a lot in common with their siblings. Then the kids grow up and start their own families, with their own particular characteristics. That’s all how it should be.
For me, I am benefitting in a huge way from the enthusiasm, experience, dedication, etc. of those above me. I am not worried about the success of this business as a whole.
A really big thing in the future success of the business is that the attrition rate is going to be very small. If someone can save money and earn money, and if they are benefitting from the help of those above them, why would they want to quit? This means that people won’t have to try to keep enrolling people to replace others who leave, but rather just keep adding more people.
The security of all this frees me up to consider what impact I want to have on others.
So here’s what I want to do —
I want to encourage others to be all they’re meant to be.
That means, not just in this business, but in their lives. I want that for my family as well as those who join me on this wave. I want to help my children and grandchildren to be able to be all they’re meant to be (and sometimes that can involve helping out with college tuition or other things that cost some money), as well as help others who in turn want to help their own families.

In regards to those who join me, what I mean by encouraging them to be all they’re meant to be is this:
- Not pressuring them, but rather encouraging them to do their best–in everything–the business and other aspects of their lives. We all need to remember that what we do today impacts the rest of our lives, as well as the lives of our children and grandchildren.
- Making sure they have access to help if/when they need it. I may not have all the answers, but I can help find the answers. And another amazing thing about this company is how they are getting ready to do the follow up, training, reminders, etc. to make it easier for everyone!
- Being there if they want to share anything else that’s going on in their lives, and praying for them.
Now, if you happen to be a person who is very hypey and would rather join a part of the family that jumps up and down thirty times a day or someone who is recruiting in the triple digits already, I think pretty soon you’ll be able to see the jumping-up-and-down people and be able to join them. They’re going to be popping out of their ceilings soon as this company becomes more visible and well-known.
But if you want to ride the wave with me and know that I just want to do my best to help you to be all you’re meant to be, then I wholeheartedly welcome you to join me.
